About Johnson Fine Homes
Developing a Passion for Building
I’m Andrew Johnson, the founder of Johnson Fine Homes Inc, based in Belleville, Ontario, a highly sought-after area with a rich history of home building. Growing up in Brighton, Ontario, a community known for its skilled builders, I developed a passion for construction early on, assisting family and friends on various projects. These experiences sparked my lifelong interest in the trades.
From Worker to Entrepreneur
After high school, I gained hands-on experience working in construction in different areas of Southern Ontario and earned a certificate in Residential Design and Drafting from Loyalist College. Over the years, I worked in various construction roles, including as a supervisor with Cobblestone Homes in Belleville, where I developed strong management skills. In 2022, I took the leap and became a licensed Ontario home builder with HRCA. In 2023, I successfully constructed and sold my first two homes.

At Johnson Fine Homes, I take a hands-on, personalized approach to every project. I’m involved at every stage, ensuring quality and attention to detail. Specializing in both new home construction and renovations, I’m flexible enough to take on smaller projects while meeting the unique needs of my clients. My focus on customer satisfaction extends long after the project is complete, making sure every client feels supported.

As my business grows, I aim to remain a small, dedicated company that delivers big results. I’m committed to continuing work in both new builds and renovations, and I look forward to exploring innovative methods that include barrier-free homes, timber framing, and homes built with insulated concrete forms (ICFs) to provide sustainable, timeless solutions.
